Knights of Columbus
About Us
The Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic fraternal organization in the world. We have 170 members in Smyrna and are led by officers who are elected every two years. The main purpose of our order is the widows and orphans of our deceased brothers. We also support several seminarians and donated regularly to Right to Life and Pregnancy Support Center. We are not a secret organization but do restrict our meetings and exemplification ceremonies to members only. The entire family and community are welcome to all other Knight events. In addition, St. Luke council offers several activities for the whole parish throughout the year such as the School’s Out Summer picnic, Altar Server Fun Night, Halloween Weiner Roast and Hayride, Children’s Christmas Party and Adult Christmas Party. We also sponsor several Lenten meal nights and spaghetti supper fund raisers. Interested in Joining? If you are interested in knowing more about our organization or wish to transfer your membership to our council, please call the person listed on the Knights newsletter found in the Narthex. 2021-2022 Officers: Grand Knight- Joey Albanese Deputy Grand Knight-Josh Ezzell Chancellor-John Fraizer Recorder- Josh Ezzell Financial Secretary-Tom Labrado Treasurer-Alan Stanley Lecturer-John Frazier Advocate-Mike Borgstrom Trustee One Year-Randell Barrett Trustee Two Year-Ken Dougherty Trustee Three Year-Michael Clinton Warden-Dave Ristau Inside Guard-Clint Carrigan Outside Guard-Frank Pittmann Spiritual Director- Deacon Simeon Panagatos Membership Director- Josh Ezzell Life Director- Leonard Persinger Family Director- Frank Pittmann Community Director- Marshall Kendall KiND- Clint Carrigan |
